Scope of application

This privacy policy clarifies users about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider WARCO Bodenbeläge GmbH, Klemmhof 9, 67433 Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Phone: 0720 77 80 40, Fax: +49 63 21 91 52 999,

E-mail: info@warco.at on this website (hereinafter referred to as "offer").

The legal basis for data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Access data/ server log files

The provider (or its web space provider) collects data about every access to the website (so-called server log files). The access data includes:

Name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimisation of the website. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or telephone number. But data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites have been viewed by someone also count as personal data.

Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by the provider if this is permitted by law or if the user consents to the collection of data.

Contact us

When contacting the provider (e.g. via contact form or e-mail), the user's details are stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise.

Integration of third-party services and content

It may happen that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated into this online offering. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") recognise the IP address of the user. This is because without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the respective user's browser. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We endeavour to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on whether the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. Insofar as we are aware of this, we will inform users accordingly.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that make it possible to store specific, device-related information on the user's access device (PC, smartphone, etc.). On the one hand, they serve the user-friendliness of websites and thus the users (e.g. storage of login data). On the other hand, they are used to collect statistical data on website usage and to analyse it in order to improve the website. Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. However, it should be noted that the use and in particular the ease of use are restricted without cookies.

You can manage many online ad cookies from companies via the US site aboutads.info or the EU site youronlinechoices.com

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the user is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google will use this information on our behalf to analyse the use of our online offer by users, to compile reports on the activities within this online offer and to provide us with further services associated with the use of this online offer and the use of the Internet. Pseudonymised user profiles can be created from the processed data.

We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymisation. This means that the IP address of users is truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other Google data.

Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the online offer and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: tools.google.com.

You can find more information on the use of data for advertising purposes by Google, setting and objection options on the Google websites: google.com ("Data use by Google when you use our partners' websites or apps"), google.com ("Data use for advertising purposes"), google.de ("Manage information that Google uses to show you advertising") and google.com ("Determine which advertising Google shows you").

Google Optimize

We use "Google Optimize" on our website, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Google Optimize is part of Google Analytics and enables us to test the attractiveness of the content and functionality of our website. For this purpose, individual elements, content or functions up to the entire website are only displayed to a certain percentage of visitors and the respective change in user behaviour is statistically evaluated (so-called A/B testing). Google Optimize uses cookies for this purpose, i.e. small text files that are stored on your end device and enable your use of our website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about the use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in Ireland and stored there. However, it cannot be ruled out that Google may also transmit data to servers in the USA and process it there. If anonymisation of the IP address to be transmitted by the cookie is activated on the website ("IP anonymisation"), your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information to analyse your use of our website on our behalf, to compile reports on website use and to provide us with further services associated with website use and Internet use. Pseudonymised user profiles can be created from the processed data.

We only use Google Optimize with IP anonymisation activated as described above. This means that your IP address is only processed by Google in abbreviated form. This means that it cannot be traced back to you personally.

We use Google Optimize for the purpose of analysing the use of our website and continuously improving individual elements, content, functions and offers as well as the overall user experience. By statistically evaluating user behaviour, we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. This also constitutes our legitimate interest in the processing of the aforementioned data by Google. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.

You can prevent the storage of cookies generated by Google Optimise by making the appropriate settings in your web browser. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website. If you wish to prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your user behaviour (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google, you can download and install the web browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

We have concluded an order processing agreement with Google in order to oblige Google to process the transmitted data only in accordance with our instructions and to comply with the applicable data protection regulations.

Insofar as data is transmitted and processed by Google in the USA, the parent company of the Google Group, Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, California 94043, USA, has submitted to and certified itself under the Privacy Shield Agreement concluded between the European Union and the USA. This means that Google undertakes to comply with the standards and regulations of European data protection law.
