The rubber kerbstone, if properly mounted, gives a good support against lateral shear forces and prevents efficiently the rubber composite paving or rubber granulate tiles from drifting apart on frequently used surfaces. Typical application cases are surrounding the play streets, driveways and park paths, as well as supporting the terraces and playing areas on a hillside. The rubber kerbstone is also available as a solid step used for covering the stairs and stairways.
Like every rubber granulate product, the rubber kerbstone can be cut to dimension with an appropriate saw (coarse saw blade, also chainsaw). Obviously, the rubber kerbstone gives protection in case of falling, damps the vibrations and impact noise. It's slip-resistant, quick-drying and liquid-permeable.
