Colour
Bast & Bark

Due to its light and dark brown hues, the colour design Bast & Bark look like a bark of a conifer. For products in the colour design Bast & Bark, only fully colourful (imbued) black, brown and beige EPDM granulate is processed. EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a modern, UV resistant, weatherproof and durable rubber. Because of their natural wood look, products in the colour design Bast & Bark fit a near-natural environment with a dominance of warm earth tones.

The tile is two-layered, but monolithic (from one piece). In the rubber granulate of the wear and visible side it's a newly manufactured, imbued EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer). The second, bottom layer is made of the black tyre rubber granulate Styrene-Butadiene Rubber, short SBR. This complex structure is especially favourable for the physical properties and durability of the tile.

Assembly or connection system

Los bordes de las placas están diseñados con un rebaje escalonado y un sistema de encaje tipo puzzle integrado. Dos lados de cada placa tienen un perfil positivo, mientras que los otros dos tienen un perfil negativo perfectamente ajustado. Este sistema de encaje tipo puzzle garantiza una conexión estable y duradera entre las placas adyacentes durante la instalación. Gracias a su disposición oculta en el rebaje escalonado, el sistema de conexión permanece invisible una vez instalada la superficie. El resultado es un patrón clásico de juntas rectangulares que recuerda a un tablero de ajedrez.

Structure of the underside

Canales de drenaje y cúpulas dispuestas en un patrón cuadrado

La base de la placa tiene una estructura con canales de drenaje de aproximadamente 4 mm de profundidad. Los canales de drenaje de las placas adyacentes están conectados entre sí, formando una red continua en toda la superficie. En las áreas cuadradas situadas entre los canales de drenaje hay grandes cavidades cóncavas de unos 15 mm de profundidad. Estas cavidades mejoran la resistencia a las inclemencias meteorológicas, la estabilidad dimensional y las propiedades de amortiguación de la placa. Las placas pueden instalarse sobre una capa de soporte ligado, impermeabilizaciones de techos o rejillas de césped de plástico. Es fundamental seguir las instrucciones de instalación.
