Why shouldn’t rubber flooring be installed directly from the pallet?
Rubber flooring should not be installed directly from the pallet. Rubber tiles need time to relax and acclimatise to the conditions at the installation site, as the tiles at the bottom of a pallet are under load during transport and storage.
After storage, remove the tiles from the pallet and lay them out loosely before installation. This allows them to relax and air out, while adjusting to the ambient temperature and humidity.
Before installation, check the tiles for colour differences. Mix tiles from different pallets and in different colour shades to create a pleasing surface appearance. Remove the tiles from the pallet and lay them out loosely at least one day before installation.
