Is direct delivery to the construction site possible?
Direct delivery to the construction site is possible, provided that the delivery address can be reached by lorry.
Delivery is carried out by a freight forwarding company. General cargo consignments weighing no more than 2,500 kg are delivered by a local rigid lorry and unloaded using its tail lift.
Deliveries weighing more than 2,500 kg are normally made by a long-distance lorry. In this case, the recipient must unload the vehicle. Unloading should preferably take place at a ramp using a forklift truck or a wheel loader.
Possible delivery locations include new-build developments, pedestrian zones, hiking huts, allotments, sports and leisure facilities, outdoor stables and model aircraft sites.
If the construction site itself cannot be accessed, WARCO will arrange an alternative unloading point nearby in advance. This unloading point must be accessible by lorry and is agreed with you in advance.
At the agreed delivery or unloading point, the customer or an authorised representative must receive the consignment in person and sign for receipt.
